Will Jesus Hear?

Will Je­sus hear a li­ttle child

So weak and full of sin?

will He ope the pear­ly gates

And bid me en­ter in?

Yes

thy Sav­ior hears thy voice

Will fold thee to His breast;

Will bid thy trem­bling heart re­joice

In Heav’n’s eter­nal rest.

Will Je­sus lend His hand to aid

When I am tempt­ed sore?

O’erlook the brok­en vows I’ve made

And fill my heart once more?

Will Je­sus

from His house in Heav’n

Look down to guard my way?

And does He care to num­ber me

As His at that great day?
