We are the children of God

And this is His commandment

That we believe in the name

Of His Son Jesus Christ

(our Lord)

And love one another.

We are the children of God.

We believe in the name of His Son.

We love because He first loved us.

We abide in Him and He in us.

And he who keeps His commandments

Abides in Him

and He in him.

And in this we know He abides in us

By the Spirit whom He gave to us.

And we know and have believed

The love which God has in us.

God is love

and he who abides in love

Abides in God and God abides in him.
