The Worship of God

lyricist: Oriana Williams, 1902
Composer: W. J. Baltzell, 1902

Not alone on rugged mountains

May we worship God the Lord;

Not alone in templed city

May the Father be adored.

We may worship Him in spirit

Anywhere today.

Never from the souls who seek Him

Will He turn away.

Jesus said

The hour is coming

Yea

is even now at hand

When true souls devoutly worship

God

the Lord

in every land.

If we bow in truth and spirit

Humbly now before His throne

He who seeketh such to worship

Will receive us as His own.
