For His is the do­main;

And His is the do­min­ion

From sea to sea to reign;

To Him the kings of She­ba

Their roy­al gifts shall bring

And isles afar their trib­ute

Shall ren­der to their king.

The whole wide world for Je­sus;

His ban­ner be un­furled

Wide as His great com­mis­sion—

Go ye to all the world

And preach to ev­ery crea­ture

The mes­sages of peace;

Lo! I am with you al­way

Till time it­self shall cease.

Where Sa­tan long hath reigned

The Prince of Peace shall tri­umph

The world shall be re­gained;

The realms which sat in dark­ness

Shall see the glo­ri­ous light

For lo! the dawn is break­ing

Along the verge of night.

Put on thy strength

O Zi­on

The post of du­ty take;

Go forth up­on thy mis­sion

In Je­sus’ name alone.

Till earth with all her mill­ions

His sov­er­eign­ty shall own.

His van­guard-hosts are mass­ing

Each thrill of ocean’s ca­ble

Each breeze fresh tid­ings brings

Of con­quests won for Je­sus

ye sons of light!

For

bright­ly

scenes pro­phet­ic

Are loom­ing in­to sight;

The world from sleep is wak­ing

To sink in night no more

For Je­sus comes tri­umph­ant

To reign from shore to shore.
