I will build my house up­on the Rock

And I know it will stand for­ev­er;

Rock of my sal­va­tion;

Here will I build

On the sure found­ation.

No found­ation can by man be laid

Than the one which the Lord hath tak­en;

’Tis a cor­ner­stone

pre­cious

elect

By the tem­pests of earth ne’er shaken.

On the sol­id rock I’ll dwell se­cure

And I’ll sing of the sure found­ation

Till the storms of life are ov­er­past

Then re­joice in com­plete sal­va­tion.
