The Precious Sacrifice

The pre­cious sac­ri­fice is made

The price di­vine at last is paid;

O world

in shame and sor­row hide:

Your Sav­ior ye have cru­ci­fied!

The Sav­ior’s life of serv­ice sweet

At last is fin­ished and com­plete;

His glo­ri­ous miss­ion now is done!

A world’s sal­va­tion has been won!

The Lord hath op­ened wide the gate

Where Heav­en’s gleam­ing ci­ty waits

And all who will may en­ter there

Within those heav’n­ly man­sions fair.
