Over the bil­lows

o­ver the sea

Cometh the good ship on­ward so free;

Working for Jesus

ear­ly and late.

Counting our plea­sures

all things but loss;

Winning the lost ones un­to the cross:

Bearer of tid­ings

Over the wa­ters clasp­ing warm hands;

Kind ties and holy bind­ing two lands;
