there is a fold well tend­ed

By a shep­herd kind and strong;

Ever from all harm de­fend­ed—

Do you to this fold be­long?

Little child­ren

come to Je­sus:

You may to this fold be­long.

Knock

and He will bid you en­ter.

There is room enough for all.

All the lambs are kind and lov­ing;

All obey their shep­herd’s voice.

Day by day His kind­ness prov­ing

In His love they all re­joice.

Kind and gen­tle

lov­ing ev­er

Seeking those that go as­tray;

Down beside the crys­tal riv­er

There He leads them all the day.

Knock

and He will bid you en­ter;

For He nev­er turns away

Those who seek His wel­come ten­der

But re­ceives and bids them stay.
