gird the ar­mor on

And press the fight with sin!

Go forth against the hosts of wrong

The con­flict wild­ly rag­es

trust­ing in Je­ho­vah’s might

Go! watch

and fight

and pray.

praise the Lord!

The ar­mies of the liv­ing God

Are march­ing on.

Against the pow­ers of dark­ness go

Determined not to yield!

Clad in a full sal­va­tion

The Spir­it’s sword in hand

From vic­to­ry un­to vic­to­ry go!

It is the Lord’s com­mand.

Be loy­al to His serv­ice

His truth to all pro­claim;
