E’er the day is over we our thanks would say

For the many plea­sures we have had to­day

Parents

friends and teachers made us hap­py

quite—

So a hear­ty

Thank you! tells of our de­light.

E’er the day is over

let us now re­call

How our heav’n­ly Fa­ther plans our plea­sures all

Planting seeds of kind­ness in each old­er heart;

dear Lord

we thank Thee: Bless us

as we part.
