Through eter­nal ages let His prais­es ring

pre­sent cleans­ing in the blood for me;

Standing in the li­ber­ty where Christ makes free

Bound to Him eter­nal­ly by love’s strong cord

Overcoming dai­ly with the Spir­it’s sword
