Sowing by word and deed

Scattering pre­cious seed

Telling the sto­ry of His love;

Gladly the news pro­claim

Jesus has come to reign

Wonderful Sav­ior from ab­ove.

Scattering ev­ery­where

Seeds of the truth in mer­cy

Sowing for oth­ers to share;

From the wide fields of sin

Gathering wan­der­ers in

Sowing the truth with song and pray­er.

Sing of His won­drous love

Sing of the home above

Blending with yon­der sac­red throng;

Loud let our voic­es raise

Beautiful songs of praise

Sowing the Gos­pel in our song.

Marching we on­ward go

Bravely we face the foe

Clad in the ar­mor of our Lord;

Ever our pray­er shall be

O Lord

for Thee

Guide us and teach us by Thy Word.
