turn to Je­sus now

No long­er make de­lay;

Since Je­sus died on Cal­va­ry

And op­ened up the way.

Oh won’t you come to Je­sus

be saved to­day

He’s ear­nest­ly plead­ing for all;

The time will come when ’twill be too late

Too late to an­swer the call.

The in­vi­ta­tion is to you

Oh

come with­out de­lay;

While Je­sus pleads so ten­der­ly

Now won’t you come to­day?

The Lord has been so good to you

And saved you from all harm;

But still He says

My Spir­it shall

Not al­ways strive with man.

The time will come

when Christ will say

Your days on earth are o’er;

When you are doomed and cast away

You’ll hear My voice no more.
