Since God is living, His true worshippers

Since God is living

His true worshippers

Will surely open up their mouths

To speak forth Jesus in the Spirit

since

That’s what the gifts are all about.

Our speaking brings in the Spirit

By which we’re ushered into the Body.

In the Body

the Lord preserves us

In the Spirit for His work.

The speaking members manifest the Spirit;

Thus

their gifts are exercised.

These gifts

however

are not for themselves

But for the Body of Christ.

Let us forget our spirituality

And only for the Body care.

’Tis then the Lord will multiply our gifts

And through us gain His heart’s desire.
