Shiloh Has Come

Heaven is ring­ing with glad ex­ul­ta­tions

Bright is the hope that so late­ly was dim;

Shiloh has come with a gift for the na­tions

Lo! He will ga­ther the peo­ple to Him.

Spread the glad mes­sage

ye mur­mur­ing riv­ers

Breezes re­peat it from mount­ain to sea

Shiloh has come with the strength that de­liv­ers;

Shiloh has come

and His peo­ple are free.

Prophets have told of His great­ness and glo­ry

Poets have sung of His wis­dom and might;

Still have they sha­dowed but faint­ly the sto­ry

Still has the hope been ex­celled in the sight.

Shiloh has come

and His pre­sence is bless­ing

Shiloh has come from the Fa­ther above;

Angels ad­ore Him

His glo­ries con­fess­ing

Mortals are won to His mar­vel­ous love.
