Humbly trust­ing

I draw near;

Now my wait­ing spir­it meet

Lend to me Thy gra­cious ear.

Thou canst cleanse the vil­est stain

Now apply Thy pre­cious blood;

Let no spot of guilt remain

Wash me in the crim­son flood.
