Sabbath School Greeting

Again ’tis holy Sab­bath day

And we have met to sing and pray;

To learn thro’ ten­der words of love

The bless­èd pre­cepts from ab­ove.

Oh

we would feel the gen­tle pow­er

That con­se­crates this ho­ly hour;

Come

sacr­ed pow­er

around us twine

And help us live the life di­vine.

Kind teach­ers

par­ents

child­ren dear

In un­ion sweet all min­gle here;

The Sav­ior dear is with us

too

And all may feel His pre­sence true.

Thou lov­ing Sav­ior

teach­er kind

Help us the nar­row way to find;

Thou art the truth

the life

the way.

Then may we Thy com­mands ob­ey.
