O wea­ry one bur­dened with sin and care

For re­fuge quick­ly fly!

The door of God’s mer­cy is op­en wide

And Je­sus is pass­ing by.

O hear the Sav­ior gent­ly say;

Rest I will give you rest

Will you not come? O come to­day.

I suf­fered and died that you might have life

Hear now the Sav­ior say;

My com­fort and peace I will give to you

O come then with­out de­lay.

In pas­tures green I will make you feed

And liv­ing waters give;

And there you’ll find rest from your care and toil

Then come to Me now and live.
