Present Salvation

I’ll praise the Lord for joy be­low

That fills my soul to ov­er­flow;

I’ll praise the Lord for grace di­vine

To feel and know that He is mine.

Praise ye the Lord

while ag­es roll

From sea to sea

from pole to pole!

Eternal life’s be­gun be­low;

His joy and peace thro’ grace I know.

I’ll praise the Lord for love that glows;

For peace that like a riv­er flows;

I’ll praise the Lord for grace and pow­er

To live like Je­sus ev­ery hour.

I’ll praise the Lord for His con­trol;

For love di­vine

that saves the soul;

For love that guards from all my foes

For love that bears my griefs and woes.

I’ll praise the Lord yet more and more;

While press­ing t’ward yon shin­ing shore;

Life’s trou­bles sore are past and gone

I’m rest­ing now in Christ the Son.
