To serve Him while you may.

To make the path­way clear;

Advance and bear His ban­ner

The King Him­self is near.

Prepare the way for Je­sus

Cast out each hin­der­ing thing

Let ev­ery heart be rea­dy

To hail the Sav­ior

King.

Resist

re­sist the temp­ter

As sold­iers true

en­dure;

Trust God

and hope for­ev­er

His pro­mis­es are sure.

Entreat the lost and care­less

To op­en wide the heart

To watch for Je­sus’ com­ing

Nor let the Lord de­part.

Arouse

arouse the sleep­er

The ris­en Lord to greet

That all may glad­ly wel­come

The com­ing of His feet.

Yield all to your Re­deem­er

Put down all sin and pride

Prepare the way for Je­sus

The Sav­ior cru­ci­fied.
