A loy­al band of sol­diers we;

O’er wrong and ev­il

We’ll win the vic­to­ry!

nor fal­ter in the con­flict

Haste away

the call ob­ey;

Tho’ ev­il’s migh­ty host en­camp against us

They can­not pre­vail;

our cap­tain true is lead­ing

Forward go to meet the foe;

Despite his boast

we’ll con­quer Sa­tan’s host;

We can nev­er

nev­er fail.

Christ is our cap­tain

A lead­er strong and true is He;

He leads to tri­umph

Tho’ fierce the strife may be.

Long tho’ the con­flict

We ne’er shall give the bat­tle o’er;

Till Christ in tri­umph

Shall reign from shore to shore.
