Only Trusting in My Savior

Only trust­ing in my Sav­ior

All to Him my soul would leave;

He has suf­fered to re­deem me

And His Word I now be­lieve.

Now to Christ alone I’m cling­ing

Tho’ the tem­pest round me blow;

Heeding not the clouds ab­ove me

Dreading not the waves be­low.

no­thing doubt­ing

This is all that I can do;

Every tri­al that be­falls me

He will safe­ly bring me thro’.

There are break­ers in the dist­ance

Yet no dan­ger will I fear;

On the rock my feet are rest­ing

Naught of harm can reach me there.
