Oh may the Gos­pel swift­ly spread

Revive the liv­ing

raise the dead;

A glo­ri­ous work be now beg­un

And mil­lions tell what God has done.

Let those who nev­er felt be­fore

Now feel the Gos­pel’s vital pow­er.

And lang­uid souls who own Thy love

Receive fresh vis­its from above.

Arise

Thou sun of right­eous­ness

With light and life the na­tions bless;
