How can you know when your time will expire?

Judgment comes after death

hell then is waiting;

How can you flee from the eternal fire?

Christ died

the devil bruised

bore your sin wholly

Rose and ascended

the Lord

King

became;

Quelled death

life manifest

that you’d released be.

Why still in bondage for death’s fate remain?

Though you may grieve the Lord

love’s unabating;

For your return

with endurance He waits.

Though you reject the Lord

still He’s awaiting

For you to turn

to believe and be saved.
