Walking in the ra­di­ance of that home ab­ove

Looking un­to Je­sus as we toil and sing

Upward to that ra­di­ant home ab­ove.

As thro’ life we jour­ney on the heav’n­ly road

Taking as our guid­ing star God’s bless­èd Word

When the way is dark­est then from Heav’n ab­ove

Bursts the cheer­ing sun­shine of a Sav­ior’s love!

Thus it will be ev­er

if we trust in Him

He will safe­ly lead us thro’ the sha­dows dim

Guide our way­ward foot­steps till the night is past

And in Heav­en’s sun­shine we are safe at last.
