Living creatures

Do the glorious Christ attest;

Knit

coordinated

shine;

They God’s purpose manifest.

As the Spirit’s lead they heed

God’s own move does now proceed.

As the living creatures move

God’s great wheel does turn with might;

In this high and awesome move

They shine forth Christ’s image bright

Thus accomplishing God’s plan in light.

Now the burning holy fire

All ungodliness consumes;

Fire becomes the holy light

All directions bright illumes.

All God’s move is in this light;

All God’s move is in their sight.

Walking in obedience

’Neath a bright and crystal sky

Conscience pure

with no offense

One voice raised

we testify.

Silent list’ning

ringing shout—

Thus God’s move is carried out.

Here alone’s God’s dwelling place;

Here alone His throne can be;

Here His glory all does grace

With His full authority.

’Round the Man enthroned is light

In the Holy City bright.
