Little Girls and Little Boys

lyricist: Harriet Jones, 1895
Composer: Harry Sanders

The little ones

tho’ very young

May learn the story precious;

And evermore may stand among

The friends who worship Jesus.

Then

little girls and little boys

Come in for loving greeting;

O come and share our Sabbath joys

The Bible truths repeating.

The little ones may sunshine bring

To many hearts aweary;

Like little birds upon the wing

Light up the pathways dreary.

The little ones may please the Lord

By using best endeavor

To win their mates by deed and word

To love and serve Him ever.
