Little Girls and Little Boys

The lit­tle ones

tho’ ve­ry young

May learn the sto­ry pre­cious;

And ev­er­more may stand among

The friends who wor­ship Je­sus.

Then

lit­tle girls and lit­tle boys

Come in for lov­ing greet­ing;

O come and share our Sab­bath joys

The Bi­ble truths re­peat­ing.

The lit­tle ones may sun­shine bring

To ma­ny hearts awea­ry;

Like lit­tle birds up­on the wing

Light up the path­ways dreary.

The lit­tle ones may please the Lord

By us­ing best en­dea­vor

To win their mates by deed and word

To love and serve Him ev­er.
