Lighten Another’s Care

Jesus com­mands you to go to­day

And light­en ano­ther’s care;

Point them to Him as the Light

the Way

He’ll al­ways the bur­den share.

Lighten a care

Tell Him in pray­er;

Jesus sends hap­pi­ness ev­ery­where

And light­ens His child­ren’s care.

Jesus will give you the vic­tor’s pow­er

So light­en ano­ther’s care;

Give you a bless­ing each com­ing hour

And help you the cross to bear.

Draw from the fount­ain of bound­less grace

And light­en ano­ther’s care;

Walk in the light of the Sav­ior’s face

Inherit a man­sion fair.
