Jesus Will Return

Have you known the won­drous sto­ry

Jesus’ com­ing draw­eth near?

And the Lord of life and glo­ry

On the cloud will soon ap­pear?

This Je­sus

Who once died for men

Will re­turn again

As the King of kings

On this earth to reign.

For the signs are fast ful­fill­ing

In the earth

the sea

the sky

And with hope our hearts are thrill­ing—

Our re­demp­tion draw­eth nigh.

Then the loved whom death had parted

On that re­sur­rect­ion day

Meet

no long­er brok­en heart­ed—

Tears have all been wiped away.

O we long for Thine ap­pear­ing!

How our hearts with­in us burn

As we know the hour is near­ing

When the Sav­ior will re­turn.
