aid me

my God

to give

To Thee the strength and fresh­ness of the time:

And so a dai­ly sac­ri­fice to live

Like spot­less vic­tim

of­fered in its prime.

In time of sick­ness

aid me in my need

Though bound

Thy will­ing sac­ri­fice to lie

To Thee each pang give

and to Thee to bleed

And

by Thy flame con­sumed

to Thee to die.
