Hear my voice according to Your ordinances enliven me.

How sweet are Your words to my taste!

Sweeter than honey to my mouth!

Your word is a lamp to my feet

And a light to my path

A light to my path.

You are my hiding place and shield

My hiding place and shield;

In Your word do I hope.

Incline my heart to Your testimonies

And not to unjust gain.

Turn my eyes from beholding vanity
