I’m Not Ashamed

I’m not ashamed of Je­sus

Nor of His bless­èd Word;

The tid­ings of sal­va­tion

My will­ing heart has heard.

In Je­sus Christ alone.

I’m not ashamed of Je­sus

His name is Lord and King;

But low­ly ones may love Him

And join His praise to sing.

His mes­sag­es of par­don

Of truth and love and grace

I long to bear to oth­ers

That they may see His face.

The bear­er of good tid­ings

Should nev­er be ashamed;

Let all re­joice in Je­sus

Wherever He is named.
