I’ll follow Jesus

on whatever track:

Smooth and broad or rough and narrow

I’ll follow Him.

Since my Lord Himself assists me

I will not shrink back.

All the way into the kingdom

foll’wing Him.

Follow! Follow! I will follow Jesus!

Though I know joy or woe

I will follow Him!

Follow! Follow! I will follow Jesus!

Anywhere He leads me

I will follow Him!

Henceforth

in whatever place:

Glad land or death-shadowed valley

I’ll follow Him.

Since my Lord Himself protects me

I’ve no bitter face;

Everywhere

until my last step

foll’wing Him.

through whate’er befall:

Sunshine bright or cloudy darkness

I’ll follow Him.

Since my Lord Himself arranged it

I’ve no cares at all;

Every moment till day’s dawning
