He Is Caring for Me

I know that my Fa­ther is car­ing

For all of His child­ren be­low;

I know that through sun­shine and sha­dow

He guides me wher­ev­er I go.

I trust Him thro’ all of life’s jour­ney

For clear­ly the way He can see;

He hold­eth my hand in the dark­ness;

I know He is car­ing for me.

I fear not though per­il sur­round me

He pro­mised to shield me from harm;

Though doubt and temp­ta­tion as­sail me

I’m safe in His shel­ter­ing arm.

One world is but dust in His bal­ance

One sea but a drop in His hand;

One soul in His sight is more pre­cious

Than trea­sures of ocean and land.
