Have faith in the blood of the Cru­ci­fied One

For tru­ly it ban­ish­es sin;

Your sins may be ma­ny

but soon shall be gone

The fount­ain is wait­ing

step in.

Have faith in the blood that ban­ish­es sin;

Come now to the soul-cleans­ing flood;

There’s cleans­ing for all who have faith to step in;

Have faith

have faith in the blood.

Your Sav­ior has died that your soul may be free

His life-blood was giv­en for you;

Oh

come to the fount­ain that cleansed you may be

Let Je­sus your spir­it re­new.

So far from the right you have wan­dered away

Come now

let your wan­der­ing cease;

The Lord will re­move your trans­gress­ions to­day

And fill you with glad­ness and peace.

Don’t wait till the gate of the fount­ain shall close

And shut you for­ev­er out­side;

Oh

come to the Lord

on His bo­som re­pose

And there

free and sin­less

ab­ide.
