Our Sun­day school

our Sun­day school

Is like a gar­den fair

Where buds of pro­mise grow and thrive

Beneath our Sav­ior’s care.

And while with­in these hap­py walls

We ga­ther now to pray

Be this the bur­den of our pray­er:

God bless our school to­day.

To Je­sus let us give our hearts

In child­hood’s ear­ly spring

And then

with true be­liev­ing faith

We all His love may sing.

To Je­sus let us give our lives

And serve Him with de­light

Before the sum­mer days are gone

And au­tumn takes its flight.

God bless our school from year to year

And crown it with His love

Till

one by one

He calls us home

To dwell with Him ab­ove.
