Have you ac­cept­ed the friend­ship of Je­sus?

Do you walk with Him day by day

Resting se­cure in His bless­èd as­sur­ance

They who walk with Him here be­low

In His glo­ri­fied like­ness awak­ing

As they are known

shall they know.

Dear as a mo­ther

or sis­ter or bro­ther

To His in­fi­nite heart of love

Is He that do­eth the will of the Fa­ther

Seeking for strength from ab­ove.

Servants no long­er

but friends He doth call us

If we do what His love com­mands

Yesterday

now

and for ev­er His pro­mise

Fixed and un­change­able stands.
