Father in Heav’n

look down

I pray

And guide my steps through­out the day;

Let not my thoughts to sin in­cline

But fill me with Thy grace di­vine.

Let all my words and act­ions be

Restrained and gov­erned

Lord

by Thee;

Bless my dear friends whom Thou has giv’n

To teach my soul the way to Heav’n.

Bless me

dear Lord

again I pray;

Let no­thing tempt me from the way

Which leads at last

through Je­sus’ love

To that sweet home of joy ab­ove.
