Facing the Valley

This is where the Lord Christ con­quers

He gives to me His per­fect peace.

I am with­out both fear and doubt

I have deep joy and sweet re­lease.

I feel the pray­ers of many saints

Sustain me in this try­ing hour.

This is the time my Lord di­vine

Does ma­ni­fest His keep­ing pow­er.

I do not fear the val­ley’s depth

I do not fear ’though it be night.

With Jesus near I need not fear

For all is clear

and all is bright.
