Everything to Me

Sometimes the world makes me frown

And all around me presses me down

But then I hear the voice of my Lord;

He calls within

“Come to My word.

Pursue Me and know Me as your God

That I may be everything to you.”

Now I call upon Your name

And my spirit is fanned into flame.

Though situations stay the same

Peace

rest

and joy now I claim.

O Lord

now I realize

Today I am being energized.

Your word has come to give light and life

Freed me from my struggle and strife.

supply me

grow in me

As You become everything to me.
