The sto­rmy winds may blow

And with fu­ry lash life’s sea;

There’s peace with­in my soul to­night.

For my Sav­ior dwells with me.

He will bring thee peace and com­fort

on a stor­my sea;

Do you hope to reach the hav­en?

Does thy Sav­ior pi­lot thee?

How sad to drift alone

Tossed by ev­ery pass­ing wave!

There is a pi­lot

sin sick soul;

Christ alone thy bark can save.

A voice says

Peace

be still

And sweet rest comes in­to life;

No long­er left to fight alone

He will guide thee through the strife.
