Do Your Best

There’s a voice that calls for reap­ers

Those who hear are sure­ly blest;

’Tis the voice of Je­sus call­ing

Work for Him and do your best.

Do your best each day for Je­sus

By and by you will have rest;

But today He calls for reap­ers

Work for Him and do your best.

Many souls now sit in dark­ness

Many hearts are sore dis­tressed;

Bring to them a ray of sun­shine

Work for Christ and do your best.

Like a dove per­haps some loved one

Now has flown from the home rest;

Where per­chance some heart is break­ing

Go today and do your best.

When the shades of ev­en­ing ga­ther

God will call you home to rest;

But to­day He needs your serv­ice

Work for Him and do your best.
