Jesus Christ is com­ing back to reign in peace;

And His won­drous might and power shall nev­er cease;

Coming from His home in Heav­en

From His glory cir­cled throne

He is com­ing

Satan’s sin­ful reign for­ev­er shall be o’er

There will be no grief nor sor­row any more;

Tho’ at times our hearts are wea­ry

And we feel all left alone

Christ is com­ing

com­ing back to His own.

Now the time for His re­turn­ing draw­eth nigh

For the golden light is break­ing in the sky;

Let us watch for His ap­pear­ing

Till the night to day has grown

He is com­ing

com­ing back to His own.
