King of saints

so long con­cealed

In ma­jes­ty di­vine re­vealed

With glo­ri­ous pomp

and heav­en­ly pow­er!

All things un­to Thy­self sub­due

Restore

cre­ate them all anew

And reign when time shall be no more.

Shorten the great ex­treme dis­tress

Fulfill Thy largest pro­mis­es

For which the Bride and Spir­it groan:

Thy groan in all Thy crea­tures hear

And now th’Al­migh­ty Lord ap­pear

Appear on Thine eter­nal throne!
