Come, Children, One and All

lyricist: Anonymous, 1902
Composer: Henry Hering

Come

children

one and all

Our Easter carol sing

And with the birds and flowers

Our heart’s pure incense bring.

Birds are singing

Buds are springing

Everything is gay

While sunbeams gleaming

Bright eyes beaming

Sing our Easter lay.

For Christ has ris’n today

The Sunday of the year;

Then with glad hearts we’ll raise

Our voices bright and clear.

We know it was for us

Our Savior rose today;

Ascending first to Heaven

He said I am the way.

Then let us all today

Our Easter anthems raise

And join the angel choirs

In hymning forth His praise.
