Christ my very peace is

And my life within;

Sharing in the spirit

I unite with Him.

Following the Spirit

Living in the Lord

Life He doth supply me

And His peace afford.

To the Lord belonging

Bound I’ll never be

For the law of life now

Sets me wholly free.

Minding flesh no longer

I’ll the spirit mind;

Self-will never follow

But the Spirit’s find.

No more God’s foe

clashing

With God’s law contend;

Righteousness surpassing

Law-keeping transcend.

Christ within empow’rs me

Spiritual to be!

E’en my body quick’ning

By His pow’r in me.

Spirit with the spirit

Witnesseth in one

I’m of God begotten

Heir with Christ the Son.
