Cheer up

O be­liev­er

for the time is near:

The trum­pet will soon be heard;

Be rea­dy each mo­ment

dry your fall­ing tear:

Be rea­dy to wel­come your Lord.

He is com­ing again

sure­ly com­ing again;

This same Je­sus is com­ing again;

In the clouds He will ap­pear

And His com­ing draw­eth near

He is com­ing for­ev­er to reign.

it will not be long:

Be watch­ing and wait­ing here;

Be faith­ful in serv­ice

sing a joy­ful song:

The com­ing of Je­sus draws near.
