Oh! a won­drous time is com­ing un­to you

And the day nor hour no mor­tal knows;

ac­cept and trust the Sav­ior true

Death and judg­ment meet with calm re­pose!

When a mo­ment may de­cide your fate?

Be pre­pared for Christ to­day

Lest it shall for­ev­er be too late!

Jesus

for each trust­ing soul

es­cape pro­vides

Thro’ His mer­cy and un­chang­ing love

And from death and night the wan­der­er safe­ly guides

To the shel­ter of the home above.

Look to Christ

be­liev­ing

and His name con­fess

That He may sal­va­tion free­ly give;

Be pre­pared

re­deemed from all un­right­eous­ness

And for­ev­er in His pre­sence live!
