At the Feet of Jesus Waiting

At the feet of Je­sus wait­ing

I have heard His sweet com­mand

Go and work with­in My vine­yard

Labor with thy heart and hand.

I am wait­ing

always wait­ing

Waiting now to do His will:

Waiting now to hear the mes­sage

And my call­ing to ful­fill.

At the feet of Je­sus wait­ing

Doing what He bids me do

Toiling

suf­fer­ing

and en­dur­ing

For His grace will bear me through.

At the feet of Je­sus wait­ing

Laying ev­ery bur­den down

Leaving all the world can give me

For a bright and glo­ri­ous crown!
