Brings a friend to un­der­stand;

A word of pray­er when your strength is gone

Brings the clasp of a migh­ty hand.

Always a pray­er to the God above

Brings a bless­ing sweet and true;

Enfolds your heart in His ten­der love

Lends His bound­less strength to you.
